Escaping Reality |
Hi! I'm a 24 year old college student. This is pretty much going to be random images depending on what I'm looking up. Mostly made up of tv shows I like, funny stuff, a dash of hot men, and random things that will not really make a lot of sense. |
THIS DRIVES ME UP A FUCKING WALL
If I could ‘like’ a post an infinity amount of times it would be this one. I’ve justified, even defended, my stance on being pro-choice too many times to the point where I shouldn’t have to justify or defend anything. I will never tell someone they’re wrong for the principles they choose to have, for believing in the things they want to believe in, for telling someone they are wrong for choosing to be pro-life — I will not be that person. But too many people have been that person to me and so many others, more importantly to the women who choose to have an abortion.
Just because I’m pro-choice does not mean I advocate the killing of babies. When I say that my body is my body and I have THE RIGHT to choose what I DO WITH IT, doesn’t mean I’m going to stand on a soapbox and WOOHOO! over killing babies. Are you seriously kidding me? No. Too many times when I walked around my college’s campus there were pro-lifers outside the library with their poster boards in the air with horrifying pictures of a dead fetus, shoving it in people’s faces, and basically telling people “This is what you, as a person who is pro-choice, are advocating.”
No.
No.
You are absolutely wrong. I am advocating for the right of every single woman to have the right to do what she wants with her own body. Do I go around telling men they can’t use Viagra? No. Do I go around telling men they don’t have the right to get a penis enlargement? No. Do I go around telling men they don’t have the right to get pedicures and manicures, or even plastic surgery? No. So how come, as a woman, I don’t have the right to make the choice of having an abortion? What if I had serious complications during my pregnancy and needed to have an abortion because (AND THIS HAS HAPPENED) I would end up dying?
I guess letting a woman die is a whole lot better then giving her the abortion that could end up being the thing that’ll save her life. I know this whole thing is a complicated situation, but to be perfectly honest, it really isn’t.
Don’t tell me what I can and cannot do with my body.
I believe that people should have a choice but I also believe that some people are idiots and shouldn’t be allowed to even have sex.

Like I always say: my body, my choice; your body, your choice
people have no right to tell another person what to do with their life
